Extracting terms from clinical records of traditional Chinese medicine

摘要:

Health records of traditional Chinese medicine contain valuable clinical information which can be used for improvement of disease treatment and for medical research. In this paper, we present a practical iterative extraction method for extracting terms from the records. The method is based on a set of extraction rules, the Mesh, and the likelihood ratio technique, and achieved a precision rate of 88.18% and a recall rate of 94.21%.

Shadow obstacle model for realistic corner-turning behavior in crowd simulation

摘要: This paper describes a novel model known as the shadow obstacle model to generate a realistic corner-turning behavior in crowd simulation. The motivation for this model comes from the observation that people tend to choose a safer route rather than a shorter one when turning a corner. To calculate a safer route, an optimization method is proposed to generate the corner-turning rule that maximizes the viewing range for the agents. By combining psychological and physical forces together, a full crowd simulation framework is established to provide a more realistic crowd simulation. We demonstrate that our model produces a more realistic corner-turning behavior by comparison with real data obtained from the experiments. Finally, we perform parameter analysis to show the believability of our model through a series of experiments.

Using heterogeneous patent network features to rank and discover influential inventors

摘要: Most classic network entity sorting algorithms are implemented in a homogeneous network, and they are not applicable to a heterogeneous network. Registered patent history data denotes the innovations and the achievements in different research fields. In this paper, we present an iteration algorithm called inventor-ranking, to sort the influences of patent inventors in heterogeneous networks constructed based on their patent data. This approach is a flexible rule-based method, making full use of the features of network topology. We sort the inventors and patents by a set of rules, and the algorithm iterates continuously until it meets a certain convergence condition. We also give a detailed analysis of influential inventor’s interesting topics using a latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model. Compared with the traditional methods such as PageRank, our approach takes full advantage of the information in the heterogeneous network, including the relationship between inventors and the relationship between the inventor and the patent. Experimental results show that our method can effectively identify the inventors with high influence in patent data, and that it converges faster than PageRank.

大型调水工程索赔管理决策支持系统的研究和实现

针对我国大型调水工程建设施工索赔经验少、索赔专家稀缺的实际情况,将人工智能中的基于事例推理(CBR) 技术和基于规则推理(RBR)技术应用于索赔管理,将以往的水利工程索赔事例以一定的结构和方式存储,设计并实现了基于知识的施工索赔决策支持系统,具有较强的实用性。目前研究应用于某大型调水工程施工管理系统。

基于改进规则检查静态分析技术的高效脆弱性检测方法 Article

摘要: 静态分析是保障软件开发质量的一种重要方法。通过与软件开发过程集成并进行交互式应用可进一步提升静态分析工具的作用优势。然而,静态分析工具的交互式应用具有高性能和快速响应等要求。为此,本文以基于规则检查技术的静态分析工具作为研究对象,提出一种改进的规则检查算法,旨在提升静态分析工具的性能。该方法首先采用一种领域描述语言构造脆弱性规则的特征对象表达式,然后基于特征对象表达式的运算结果,对脆弱性规则进行过滤。由于一个代码文件通常只包含与部分脆弱性规则相关的错误,通过规则过滤可有效提高规则检查算法的效率,进而提升静态分析的性能。为了对方法可行性及有效性进行评估,方法实现过程被集成到开源静态分析工具PMD中并基于扩展后的PMD进行了实验分析。实验结果表明提出的方法可在不损失静态分析检测能力和精度的情况下获得平均28.7%的性能提升。

A model reference adaptive control based method for actuator delay estimation in real-time testing

摘要: Real-time testing provides a viable experimental technique to evaluate the performance of structural systems subjected to dynamic loading. Servo-hydraulic actuators are often utilized to apply calculated displacements from an integration algorithm to the experimental structures in a real-time manner. The compensation of actuator delay is therefore critical to achieve stable and reliable experimental results. The advances in compensation methods based on adaptive control theory enable researchers to accommodate variable actuator delay and achieve good actuator control for real-time tests. However, these adaptive methods all require time duration for actuator delay adaptation. Experiments show that a good actuator delay estimate can help optimize the performance of the adaptive compensation methods. The rate of adaptation also requires that a good actuator delay estimate be acquired especially for the tests where the peak structural response might occur at the beginning of the tests. This paper presents a model reference adaptive control based method to identify the parameter of a simplified discrete model for servo-hydraulic dynamics and the resulting compensation method. Simulations are conducted using both numerical analysis and experimental results to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed estimation method.

Novel slack-based robust scheduling rule for a semiconductor manufacturing system with uncertain processing

The NP-hard scheduling problems of semiconductor manufacturing systems (SMSs) are further complicated by stochastic uncertainties. Reactive scheduling is a common dynamic scheduling approach where the scheduling scheme is refreshed in response to real-time uncertainties. The scheduling scheme is overly sensitive to the emergence of uncertainties because the optimization of performance (such as minimum make-span) and the system robustness cannot be achieved simultaneously by conventional reactive scheduling methods. To improve the robustness of the scheduling scheme, we propose a novel slack-based robust scheduling rule (SR) based on the analysis of robustness measurement for SMS with uncertain processing time. The decision in the SR is made in real time given the robustness. The proposed SR is verified under different scenarios, and the results are compared with the existing heuristic rules. Simulation results show that the proposed SR can effectively improve the robustness of the scheduling scheme with a slight performance loss.

Entity and relation extraction with rule-guided dictionary as domain knowledge

摘要: Entity and relation extraction is an indispensable part of domain knowledge graph construction, which can serve relevant knowledge needs in a specific domain, such as providing support for product research, sales, risk control, and domain hotspot analysis. The existing entity and relation extraction methods that depend on pretrained models have shown promising performance on open datasets. However, the performance of these methods degrades when they face domain-specific datasets. Entity extraction models treat characters as basic semantic units while ignoring known character dependency in specific domains. Relation extraction is based on the hypothesis that the relations hidden in sentences are unified, thereby neglecting that relations may be diverse in different entity tuples. To address the problems above, this paper first introduced prior knowledge composed of domain dictionaries to enhance characters’ dependence. Second, domain rules were built to eliminate noise in entity relations and promote potential entity relation extraction. Finally, experiments were designed to verify the effectiveness of our proposed methods. Experimental results on two domains, including laser industry and unmanned ship, showed the superiority of our methods. The F1 value on laser industry entity, unmanned ship entity, laser industry relation, and unmanned ship relation datasets is improved by +1%, +6%, +2%, and +1%, respectively. In addition, the extraction accuracy of entity relation triplet reaches 83% and 76% on laser industry entity pair and unmanned ship entity pair datasets, respectively.

基于非关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法研究

当前岩土材料的滑移线场理论及上限法中都广泛采用经典塑性理论中的关联流动法则,由此得出应力特征线与速度滑移线一致的结论。而试验得知,岩土材料并不服从关联流动法则,因而应力特征线与速度滑移线不可能重合。文章分析了基于关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法中存在的问题,根据广义塑性理论推导了基于非关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法,消除了现行滑移线场理论及上限法理论中的种种矛盾。

摘要: This paper presents an intelligent system that is necessary for diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in the iron and steel industry. A rule-based reseaning (RBR) intelligent diagnostic system has been developed based on many successful diagnostic applications. It can solve the difficulty in knowledge acquisition and has more precision. Its application results prove that the usability of the system is good and it will increasingly attain perfection.

Physiological functions and clinical implications of the N-end rule pathway

The N-end rule pathway is a unique branch of the ubiquitin-proteasome system in which the determination of a protein’s half-life is dependent on its N-terminal residue. The N-terminal residue serves as the degradation signal of a protein and thus called N-degron. N-degron can be recognized and modifed by several steps of post-translational modifications, such as oxidation, deamination, arginylation or acetylation, it then polyubiquitinated by the N-recognin for degradation. The molecular basis of the N-end rule pathway has been elucidated and its physiological functions have been revealed in the past 30 years. This pathway is involved in several biological aspects, including transcription, differentiation, chromosomal segregation, genome stability, apoptosis, mitochondrial quality control, cardiovascular development, neurogenesis, carcinogenesis, and spermatogenesis. Disturbance of this pathway often causes the failure of these processes, resulting in some human diseases. This review summarized the physiological functions of the N-end rule pathway, introduced the related biological processes and diseases, with an emphasis on the inner link between this pathway and certain symptoms.

Study on the NOx release rule along the boiler during pulverized coal combustion

摘要: Numerical simulation and experimental study on NO release along the boiler during pulverized coal combustion have been conducted. With the increase of temperature the NO emission increased and the peak value of NO release moved forward. But when the temperature increased to a certain degree, NO emission began to reduce. NO emission increased with the increase of nitrogen content of coal. The peak value of NO release moved backwards with the increase of coal rank. NO emission increased obviously with the increase of stoichiometric ratio. There existed a critical average diameter of the pulverized coal (). If "d, NO emission reduced with the decrease of pulverized coal size. If >, NO emission reduced with the increase of the pulverized coal size. The results showed that the simulation results are in agreement with the experimental results for concentration distribution of NO along the axis of the furnace.
